Frequently asked questions

  1. How are translation services charged?
Translation services are charged per a standard page, which is 1500 characters without spaces.
  2. How can I be sure the translation is of good quality?
The translations are mainly performed by highly professional translators, which express themselves in a target language with a competence of native speakers or by translators who are native speakers of target languages. This way you can always be sure the translation is of a high quality and contains no stylistic errors.
  3. How to ensure high quality of expertise and academic texts?
These translations are covered by experts specialised in individual areas and translators who specialise in certain technical, scientific and social fields.
  4. What is the daily norm per translator or proof reader?
On average, the daily norm of a translator is 4-5 standard pages of translation, while the proof reader’s norm is 15-20 standard pages. In general, the speed of translation or proof reading depends on how demanding a text is, so a strictly fixed norm actually does not exist. When engaged in translating long texts, Translat assigns a special group of translators, which is complemented by checkers and proofreaders. These group members are responsible for adequate presentation of the final text in a target language.
